DURABLE LENSES
For Durable Contact Lenses the cost comprises and Initial Fitting Fee and a pair of Contact Lenses at the ‘Regular Rate' cost below. The initial fee includes, the Contact Lens fitting and tolerance trial, instruction on the handling and care of your contact lenses and up to four aftercare appointments in the first year. Cleaning and disinfecting solutions (which cost approximately £3.00 per week) are purchased separately when required.

During the first three months, if there were intolerance to the contact lenses fitted there would be no charge for refitting to lenses of a similar type e.g. Rigid Gas Permeable to Disposable Soft. Further charges would be made for refitting to Toric or Multifocal Lenses. If the Optometrist considers it necessary to improve the fit or vision during the first six months, alternative lenses of the same type will be supplied on an 'no-charge' exchange basis.

Any lenses lost or broken are chargeable at the Replacement Rate shown below.

Above prices are per lens.
New fittings and refits are charged at the regular rate above, thereafter duplicate lenses are charged at the replacement rate.

When required, eye examinations and aftercare will be charged at the above rates.

After the First Year
Annual aftercares – 'check ups' of the eyes and lenses – are essential to maintain good sight and healthy eyes, when you are registered with us you will be notified when you are due to attend. Our fees are:

Contact Lens wearers are entitled to 25% discount on spectacles (frame and lenses) purchased from us.

All contact lens and solution prices include VAT at the appropriate rate.
