Speedmaster – Internet Remote Lens Ordering

We are one of the few Opticians nationally to have introduced the computerised Rodenstock ‘Speedmaster’ ordering system to our practice. The exact frame shape is electronically scanned and the lens type, prescription and your facial measurements entered into the computer. The order is then dispatched over the Internet to Rodenstock’s lens laboratory in Kent.

Rodenstock are able to start making lenses individually for you, before the frame is even posted, saving time and improving service. For those requiring lenses to be fitted to their existing frames, Rodenstock lenses can be ordered and made arriving at the practice cut, shaped, and edged ready to be fitted to your frame while you wait! You benefit by retaining your spectacles whilst the lenses are made and saving time when they are fitted.
